You will perform activities in human resources from interviewing applicants, timekeeping, file maintenance of employees on a HRIS system and provide administrative support to the office.
Responsibilities:
Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
Completes Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 files.
Manages FMLA, workers comp, and others per company policy.
Submits requests and assists with new- employee drug screening and physicals.
Assists with recruitment and interview process.
Makes photocopies; mails, scans, and email documents; and perform other clerical functions.
Files documents into employee's files.
Prepares new employees files and ensures employees are ready for orientation.
Process mail Process required documents for payroll and insurance info to ensure accurate record-keeping Assists with processing of terminations.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Time management skills with a proven ability to meet weekly deadlines.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and other software.
Working understanding of human resource principles, practices and procedures.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in human resources, HR administration, office management or any relevant experience.
At least 6 months to a year of related experience.
Knowledge of labor and employment laws.
Ability to build rapport with all employees.
Strong organizational skills.
Must be bilingual - Speak Spanish and English! Remote:
